The WV STEPS David and JoAnn Shaw Simulation Training and Education for Patient Safety Center will host Healthcare Simulation Week from Monday, Sept. 15, through Friday, Sept. 19.
Healthcare Simulation Week, a national event, is an opportunity to celebrate and showcase how professionals are educated through simulation to improve patient care and safety.
This year’s theme, “United Through Simulation,” focuses on celebrating the global simulation community. Healthcare Simulation Week is an opportunity to showcase the dedicated professionals who contribute to learning, teaching and researching through simulation.
On Sept. 15, Jason Craig will lead a CHSE Blueprint course on behalf of the Society of Simulation in Healthcare. The course fee is $400.
On Sept. 17, Dr. Lisa Sinz, past president of the Society of Simulation in Healthcare, will lead a coaching workshop to provide guidance to learners in simulation situations.
