KEYSER, W. Va. — The WVU School of Nursing Keyser Campus recently celebrated five years during a special campus reunion, inviting faculty, staff, and nursing alumni to the event.
Held April 10 in the Davis Conference Center at WVU Potomac State College, the event offered an opportunity to reconnect, reminisce, and celebrate the accomplishments of the Keyser Campus and its students over the past five years.
Attendees were invited to share recorded messages to be played during the event, both for their special memories of the campus and as a tribute to Dr. April Shapiro, Keyser Campus Chair, who will retire in May.
Since the campus was established, the Keyser Campus has graduated five Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) cohorts. The department has grown from 21 students and four faculty and staff to 80 students and 15 faculty and staff members. The campus has also expanded to include an LPN to BSN program as well.
